  • FLINT CLIENTS : NOTICE OF MAILING BY U.S. DISTRICT COURT

The U.S. District Court is in the process of mailing to each household in Flint, Michigan a 70-page document containing information relating to the $640 million settlement awarded to Flint residents in their legal battle against the State of Michigan, City of Flint, McLaren Regional Medical Center and Rowe Professional Services.

This mailing will provide in-depth information about the proposed class action settlement, including various legal options to be determined prior to the Court’s decision to approve or deny the proposed settlement.  Keep an eye out for a document that reads: “This notice explains the lawsuit, the settlement, your legal rights, what settlement fund money will be available, who is eligible, and how to get money from the settlement fund.”

Slater Slater Schulman LLP represents hundreds of injured victims in the Flint water crisis settlements.  Our office will handle all registration documents required for inclusion in the settlement program.  We encourage any client with questions or concerns to contact our office for additional information.
