Meet Kendell Hess

Investigator

Kendell Hess is an Investigator at Slater Slater Schulman with 10 years of experience in the investigation field. Kendell frequently investigates sexual abuse and assault cases, with an additional background in traffic fatalities, domestic violence, and severe trauma cases.

As a seasoned investigator, Kendell is an exceptional communicator, trained in several different fact-finding and forensic techniques. She tailors her approach to precisely what her client requires, meeting all current needs to support their ongoing case. Motivated to work in the best interests of her clients at all costs, Kendell investigates every angle of a client’s matter to secure every piece of pertinent evidence to achieve a favorable result.

Kendell first began her investigative career while enlisted in the United States Army. Working as a Military Police Officer, Kendell was selected to go on multiple investigations sparking a passion in the field. She thrives on the rush of investigative work and fast-paced environments that keep her quick on her feet. Her military success led Kendell to receive the Army Commendation Medal and the Army Achievement Medal for her extraordinary efforts.

Kendell is currently attending Purdue University to obtain her B.S. in Nutrition. She officially joined the Slater Slater Schulman team in May 2022, drawn to the opportunity to strive in her current skill set while growing in other areas of her life with the firm’s support.
