Jason Kleinman is an Associate Attorney at Slater Slater Schulman, where he represents survivors of childhood sexual abuse across Illinois.
Jason brings compassion, integrity, and a deep sense of purpose to every case he handles. He listens attentively to his clients and provides them with an honest, straightforward explanation of how the law applies to their unique circumstances. His goal is to empower clients with clarity and confidence as they navigate the legal process and pursue justice.
Prior to joining the firm, Jason represented individuals and families injured by negligent or wrongful acts in cases involving medical malpractice, motor vehicle and trucking accidents, premises and construction negligence, intentional torts, and product liability. Drawing on this broad experience, he has developed a thoughtful and principled approach to advocacy, one focused on helping clients rebuild their lives after justice is served.
Jason is recognized as an Illinois Super Lawyers Rising Star from 2015 to 2018 and a Super Lawyer from 2023 to 2024 for his dedication to clients. He remains actively involved with the Chicago Bar Association and the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association. Beyond his practice, he has volunteered with Feed My Starving Children, a nonprofit organization that provides nutritionally complete meals to malnourished children worldwide and to families in need.
Jason earned his B.S. with Honors from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, and his J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law. He been a valuable member of the Slater Slater Schulman team since 2025 and is licensed to practice law in Illinois and Indiana state courts and before the Supreme Court of Illinois, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, the United States District Court for the Central District of Illinois, and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Indiana.
