Raymond J. Zolekhian is a partner at Oakwood Legal Group, LLP. Raymond received his law degree from Harvard Law School. Prior to attending Harvard, he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business-Economics, magna cum laude, from UCLA. He has been awarded countless honors including being named as the Top 100 Trial Lawyers and The Top 40 Under 40 by The National Trial Lawyers. He has also been named a Rising Star by Super Lawyers Magazine from 2015-2021. With over 16 years of practice as an attorney, Raymond uses his superior training and experience in representing clients in the areas of catastrophic personal injury and sexual abuse litigation.
Raymond started his legal career at the international law firm of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, LLP, which is consistently recognized as one of the top law firms in the world. During his career at Skadden, Raymond advised some of the most prominent companies in the world including the National Basketball Association, Hard Rock Hotels and Morgans Hotel Group. More recently, Raymond represented dozens of sexual abuse survivors in the historic $852 Million settlement against the University of Southern California. He takes pride in seeing things in cases that other attorneys don’t, all in an effort to get his clients the best possible outcome.
Raymond has been quoted in several publications including The Los Angeles Times and The Los Angeles Business Journal. A native of Los Angeles, he is very active in the community and currently serves on the Advisory Board of The Jewish Community Foundation of Los Angeles and the Citizens’ Bond Oversight Committee of the Beverly Hills Unified School District.
