Meet Gow Mosby Jr.

Associate

Gow Mosby Jr. is an Associate Attorney at Slater Slater Schulman.

Gow uses a survivor-centered, trauma-informed approach with his clients to create a safe and supportive environment. He understands the unique needs of individuals who have suffered trauma—such as sexual abuse—and collaborates with his clients to develop a shared understanding of their legal options and goals.

Prior to Slater Slater Schulman, Gow served for nearly five years as an Assistant District Attorney in the Trial Division and Sex Crimes Unit with the New York County District Attorney’s Office. Gow conducted jury trials in New York Supreme and Criminal Court involving sex offenses, homicides and other violent felony offenses, and a notable case involving a prominent neurologist who sexually abused his patients for many years (Manhattan DA Article). Gow is certified in Science-Based Interviewing to optimize his interactions with clients, coworkers and the community, and has served as a member of the Legal Hiring Board.

Gow is a member of the NYC Bar Association and a Board Member of The Groove Fund Inc.—an organization providing scholarships to graduating high school seniors. He also mentors high school students through the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office High School Internship Program, meeting with students weekly to supervise their educational development and academic proposals.

Gow graduated with his B.A. in Political Science and African Studies from the University of Albany before receiving his J.D. from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. While attending law school, Gow was the Editor-in-Chief with the Cardozo Arts & Entertainment Law Journal, a recipient of the Mark Whitlock Scholarship and awarded for his exemplary service to the community. Gow joined the Slater Slater Schulman team in June 2023 and is licensed to practice in New York State.
