Mya’i Thomas, an Associate Attorney at Slater Slater Schulman LLP, represents survivors of clergy sexual abuse in California.
Mya’i approaches her practice with a foundation of mutual respect. She carefully and thoughtfully handles sensitive matters, empowering clients to participate in the legal process with confidence.
Prior to joining the firm, Mya’i gained significant litigation experience representing corporate clients in defense-focused matters, managing all aspects of litigation in toxic tort, medical malpractice, and employment law cases. Mya’i leverages her insurance knowledge from past experiences to achieve the best outcome for her clients. Outside of her legal practice, Mya’i volunteers with ABA Free Legal Answers.
Mya’i received her B.A. in Communications from California State University, Monterey Bay, and her J.D. from New England Law, Boston, where she earned the Outstanding Academic Achievement Award in 2021. She joined Slater Slater Schulman in 2025 and is licensed to practice law in California and Massachusetts state courts.
