Devin Meepos

Senior Associate
  • Devin Meepos is a Senior Associate at Slater Slater Schulman, where she represents survivors of sexual abuse, trafficking, harassment, discrimination, civil rights violations, and employment violations.

Devin’s experience representing vulnerable children and families has shaped her deeply human approach to litigation. She combines strategic advocacy with empathy, ensuring that clients feel heard, understood, and supported throughout the legal process. She is a relentless and tenacious advocate known for her commitment to uncovering the truth and standing firmly in her clients’ corners.

Devin’s legal career was inspired by her mother, a private investigator, who shaped her approach to litigation early in life. As a child, Devin often accompanied her mother on assignments and learned firsthand the importance of persistence and thorough investigation.

Prior to joining Slater Slater Schulman, Devin spent six years as a trial attorney representing foster children and defending parents in high-stakes custody proceedings involving allegations of abuse, neglect, and domestic violence. She went on to represent survivors and victims in complex civil litigation involving sexual abuse, trafficking, harassment, discrimination, excessive force, and law enforcement misconduct.

Devin has played a key role in several high-impact cases advocating for victims’ rights. Most recently, she helped secure an $8.4 million jury verdict for a victim of workplace sexual harassment and has contributed to numerous seven-figure settlements involving abuse, exploitation, and discrimination. She has also spoken on panels addressing police accountability and provided legal analysis to an international news outlet regarding developments related to the Epstein files and their implications for survivors of sexual exploitation.

Devin earned her B.A. in Sociology, cum laude, from Boston University and her J.D. from Southwestern Law School. While in law school, she served on the Law Review Executive Board, taught the law review writing course, and wrote an article examining government regulation of private affairs that the Harvard Law Review later cited.

She began her legal career as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Amy Pellman in Juvenile Dependency Court and later served as a post-graduate fellow at the Alliance for Children’s Rights. Devin is admitted to practice in California and the United States District Court for the Central District of California. Outside of her legal practice, she is a fourth-generation California resident who enjoys spending time in the ocean and mountains.
