Erin Chang is an Associate Attorney at Slater Slater Schulman, where she represents survivors of adult sexual abuse.

With a strong commitment to her clients, Erin is a diligent, passionate, caring, and communicative advocate who works tirelessly to pursue justice for survivors. She is focused on ensuring her clients are supported throughout the legal process and makes it a priority to communicate clearly and promptly so they are always informed about the status of their cases.

Prior to joining the firm, Erin served as an Assistant District Attorney at the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office. In this role, she gained valuable courtroom and litigation experience handling a range of criminal matters, including several sexual assault cases and playing a key role in a sexual assault trial that resulted in a guilty verdict. This background strengthened her ability to advocate effectively, think strategically, and manage complex and sensitive cases.

Erin earned her B.A. from the University of Michigan and her J.D. from the Georgetown University Law Center. Prior to and during law school, Erin gained experience working at the Fraud Section’s FCPA Unit at the United States Department of Justice as a paralegal, the Organized Crime Unit at the Maryland Office of the Attorney General, the Major Crimes Unit at the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office, and the Organized Crime and Gang Section at the United States Department of Justice. While in law school, she also participated in the Street Law program, where she taught legal skills and helped prepare high school students for mock trial competitions.

Erin joined Slater Slater Schulman in May 2026, drawn to the opportunity to continue her work advocating for victims of sexual abuse and helping survivors pursue accountability and justice. She is licensed to practice in New York state courts.
