Meet David Mason

Senior Associate

David Mason is a Senior Associate at Slater Slater Schulman with a background in mass torts and personal injury litigation.

David forges positive client relationships through genuine compassion and proactive legal strategies. He treats every client as a person rather than a file number, providing them space to share their stories and concerns. Clients appreciate David’s effort to break down complex ideas and information into digestible steps they can follow, understand, and process as the litigation pursues.

David is a member of the North Carolina Advocates for Justice (NCAJ), serving on the Auto Torts & Premises Liability Executive Committee as a Membership Co-Chair. He values his work with NCAJ for its dedication to leveling the playing field for all individuals in North Carolina.

Prior to joining the firm, David gained nine years of experience representing plaintiffs in personal injury and wrongful death litigation across North Carolina. He is well-versed in all aspects of civil litigation, including depositions, mediation, arbitration, and jury trials.

David graduated with his B.S. in Business Administration with a Minor in Spanish from North Carolina State University. He received his J.D. from the Campbell University School of Law, where he represented the school in the ABA Negotiation Competition two years in a row. He joined Slater Slater Schulman in October 2023 and is licensed to practice in North Carolina state courts and the U.S. District Courts of the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of North Carolina.
