Babak Shirdel is a Senior Associate at Slater Slater Schulman, representing survivors of sexual abuse.

Babak is a practical litigator and a dedicated advocate for his clients. He understands the needs of survivors and builds a positive rapport through honesty and consistency.

Babak is bilingual in English and Farsi. Prior to joining the firm, Babak worked for over a decade as a defense attorney representing public and private entities in a wide variety of cases, including catastrophic injury, traumatic brain injury, sexual abuse, and wrongful death.

Babak received his B.S. in Biochemistry and Cell Biology from the University of California, San Diego, and his J.D. from the University of Southern California. Babak joined Slater Slater Schulman in September 2023 and is licensed to practice in the California state courts and the United States District Court for the Central District.
