Zac Schierhorst is Slater Slater Schulman’s Information Technology Manager with over a decade of IT experience.

Zac works collaboratively with the firm’s multiple offices to manage the firm’s information technology and computer systems, align IT objectives and programs with the firm’s goals and vision, and keep the firm abreast of emerging technologies and trends to optimize efficiency.

Prior to joining the firm, Zac spent a year as a Systems Engineer at a Long Island-managed services provider, as well as five years as a Systems Administrator with a Long Island brokerage firm. He primarily focused on correcting issues with company computer and network resources, optimizing IT resource efficiency and productivity, and completing projects related to quality improvement and modernization of IT services.

Zac is a proud 15-year U.S. Navy Veteran with a background in avionics and cryptologic intelligence. Additionally, he volunteers as the Post Chaplain at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9592 in service of other veterans in the community.

Zac received his A.A. in Humanities from Nassau Community College. He joined Slater Slater Schulman in September 2023.
