Michael D. Terani is a Partner at Oakwood Legal Group, LLP and serves as Of Counsel at Slater Slater Schulman. He earned his law degree from Loyola Law School after completing a Bachelor of Arts in Economics at UCLA. Since 2006, Michael has successfully represented thousands of clients and has played key roles in numerous high-profile and complex personal injury and sexual abuse cases.

Michael began his career at the Santa Monica City Attorney’s Office, where he gained invaluable experience handling a wide range of injury-related matters, including cases involving sexual misconduct, police misconduct, road-design defects, and other significant personal injury claims.

In 2007, Michael founded his own practice, which grew into a multi-jurisdictional firm collaborating with more than 100 attorneys nationwide. His unwavering commitment to advocating for the injured ultimately led him to establish Oakwood Legal Group and partner with Slater Slater Schulman, where he now dedicates 100% of his practice to California personal injury and sexual abuse law.

Beyond his legal practice, Michael is deeply dedicated to his community. For more than two decades, he has volunteered as a coach and mentor, consistently investing his time to guide and support local youth.
