Nestor Marquez

  • Nestor Marquez is a Post-Bar Law Clerk at Slater Slater Schulman, where he is part of the Custodial Facilities team in our Los Angeles office.

    Nestor is a passionate and diligent advocate who approaches every case with a deep sense of purpose and respect for his clients. His work focuses on mass tort litigation.

    Nestor first joined Slater Slater Schulman in 2019, where he gained valuable experience in mass tort litigation before attending law school. He returned to the firm in the summer of 2024, having expanded his advocacy skills through his work with the Loyola Immigrant Justice Clinic, where he assisted clients with immigration matters and conducted thorough legal research.

    Earlier in his career, he proudly worked with the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles (LAFLA), representing indigent and homeless clients. This experience was shaped by his own journey of immigrating to the United States from Mexico at the age of seven. In his free time, he enjoys running and playing volleyball.

    Nestor received his B.A. in Political Science from UC Santa Barbara and his J.D. from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles.
