  • Faria Morshed is an Associate Attorney at Slater Slater Schulman, where she advocates for survivors of sexual abuse involved in the Boy Scouts of America litigation, as well as clients pursuing personal injury and mass tort claims.

    Faria is a compassionate ally who leads with empathy, clarity, and a strong sense of purpose. Recognizing that each survivor’s journey is deeply personal and deserving of thoughtful care, she serves as both a trusted legal advocate and a steady presence during vulnerable times. Faria prioritizes open, consistent communication, ensuring her clients are fully supported and empowered throughout the legal process.

    Prior to joining Slater Slater Schulman, Faria worked as an insurance defense attorney, focusing on commercial auto claims. Her earlier experience also includes constitutional litigation and administrative legal work in higher education. She is involved in the ABA Section of Civil Rights and Social Justice and the ABA Commission on Domestic & Sexual Violence, furthering her dedication to survivor-centered advocacy.

    Outside of her legal practice, Faria supports her family’s orphanage in rural Bangladesh, assisting with daily operations and fundraising efforts. Her work helps ensure children receive the care, education, and stability they deserve. This ongoing commitment reflects her deep belief that every child should grow up with dignity and security.

    Faria received her B.A. in Psychology from the University of Kentucky and her J.D. from Northern Kentucky University, Chase College of Law, where she received the Tena Feagan Constitutional Litigation Clinic Award, honoring excellence in advocacy and civil rights representation for incarcerated individuals. She’s been an integral part of the Slater Slater Schulman team since 2024 and is licensed to practice in Illinois state courts.
