Jacob Beychok is an Associate Attorney at Slater Slater Schulman, litigating mass torts and advocating for survivors of childhood sexual abuse.
Jacob is committed to achieving favorable outcomes for his clients through a compassionate and empathic approach. Jacob’s client-centered approach empowers clients—particularly trauma survivors–to feel comfortable participating in this process.
Prior to joining Slater Slater Schulman, Jacob gained valuable experience in criminal law, landlord-tenant disputes necessitating litigation, and childhood sexual abuse litigation. Jacob served as an assistant state attorney in the Second Judicial Circuit of Florida, prosecuting both misdemeanors and felonies. Thereafter, he worked as an associate attorney with the Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County in Florida, representing indigent clients in landlord-tenant matters.
Jacob has worked successfully with both victim advocates and community organizations/non-profits, building relationships with numerous clients in need. Outside of his practice, Jacob has volunteered with United Way, the Salvation Army, and organized and conducted free legal clinics throughout Palm Beach County, Florida.
Jacob received his B.A. in Political Science from the University of Florida and his J.D. from the University of Alabama School of Law, graduating cum laude from both programs. Jacob has been a valuable member of our firm since 2023 and is licensed to practice in Florida state courts.
In his personal life, Jacobs is passionate about sports, movies, and travel. He lives in South Florida with his wife and one-year-old daughter; spending time with them is his favorite activity.
