Maria Olmos is a Senior Litigation Paralegal at Slater Slater Schulman with over 11 years of experience. Maria primarily focuses on litigation and provides guidance to other paralegals and legal assistants in the firm’s California office.
Maria’s diligence and ambition to create a strong legal team makes her a crucial asset to the firm. She focuses on the fundamentals to empower a productive and highly efficient group of paralegals and legal assistants.
In addition to working with her team, Maria serves as a Paralegal to Partner Jim Lewis, where she manages a caseload of sexual assault cases involving school districts. Prior to joining Slater Slater Schulman, she worked as a paralegal at multiple law firms throughout Los Angeles handling cases in employment law, personal injury, and family law.
Maria gives back to her community by volunteering at Immigo, a nonprofit organization founded to assist the immigrant community. She frequently helps with charity events that raise funds to provide education and affordable legal immigration services to migrant individuals and families.
Maria graduated with a Bachelors in Criminal Justice from Chapman University. She joined Slater Slater Schulman in January 2022 with a desire to switch her career path toward advocating for survivors of trauma and catastrophic injuries.
