Meet Moustafa Refaat

Law Clerk

Moustafa Refaat is a Law Clerk at Slater Slater Schulman, where he focuses on advocating for sexual abuse survivors.

Moustafa prioritizes effective communication with clients above all else. He ensures clients remain updated on their cases, explaining each step of the court process thoroughly.

Moustafa’s prior legal experience includes working as a licensed attorney in Egypt and as both a paralegal and associate at various law firms in Dubai. In these capacities, Moustafa has filed claims in different courts in the United Arab Emirates, translated legal documents from Arabic to English, attended hearings and expert interviews, and drafted and negotiated contracts.

Outside of the firm, Moustafa has been an active member of the Egyptian Bar Association since 2013.

Moustafa received a Bachelor’s in Law from Alexandria University before receiving his LLM from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles in International Business. He joined the Slater Slater Schulman team in February 2023.
