Associate
Paulina Hassan Jaafar is an Associate Attorney at Slater Slater Schulman, representing survivors of sexual abuse. Paulina frequently litigates cases involving the Child Victims Act throughout California.
Paulina is a passionate advocate focused on creating achievable goals for her clients. Her approachable nature empowers survivors to share their stories and helps build a successful relationship premised on trust.
Prior to joining the firm, Paulina represented plaintiffs in mass tort and catastrophic loss matters. Paulina also has experience litigating cases involving motor vehicle and truck accidents, product liability, premises liability, medical malpractice, and wrongful death.
Paulina is a member of the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles (CAALA). She enjoys giving back to her community, frequently donating to and volunteering for events through the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) and Planned Parenthood.
Paulina graduated with a B.A. in North African and Middle Eastern Studies from UCLA and a J.D. from Southwestern Law School, where she received the CALI award for excellent achievement in the study of the International Protection of Human Rights Seminar. Paulina joined Slater Slater Schulman in July 2023 and is licensed to practice in California state courts and the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.
In her personal life, Paulina enjoys traveling, cooking, attending concerts, spending time with her family, and exploring the various cuisines that Los Angeles offers.
