Daniel Passer is an Associate Attorney at Slater Slater Schulman, representing sexual abuse survivors involved with the landmark Boy Scouts of America bankruptcy litigation.

Daniel treats every client as a priority, evaluating each matter individually without judgment or preconceived notions. He aims to make survivors feel at ease when sharing their needs and expectations. Survivors trust that Daniel will put their best interests at heart and genuinely believe in his desire to fight for them.

Daniel first experienced working with survivors of sexual abuse and trauma while interning at the Queens County Family Court. In this role as a second-year law student, he observed and participated in matters relating to family offenses, child neglect/abuse, and juvenile delinquency. He then participated in Cardozo’s Health Care Reform Clinic, working with the Community Service Society of New York to help low-income and elderly individuals with health insurance complaints and appeals.

Daniel is a member of the American Bar Association and a former volunteer with Sunnyside-Woodside Mutual Aid Group (SWMA), a community organization in Queens that provided free aid and relief to residents in need through food pantries, translation services, errands, and housing assistance.

Daniel received his B.A. in Political Science with a minor in Russian Studies from Stony Brook University. He received his J.D. from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where he co-founded the Cardozo Interactive Entertainment Law Society, addressing various legal issues and aiding students in obtaining internship opportunities.
