Meet Ashley Florek

Senior Associate

Ashley Florek is a Senior Associate at Slater Slater Schulman with a focus in Adult Sexual Abuse litigation.  She primarily represents women who were victims of sexual abuse while incarcerated in the New York penitentiary system.

Ashley is a client-focused attorney who excels in sexual abuse litigation by setting realistic legal expectations and zealously advocating for her clients. Her efforts have led to her recognition as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers since 2019.

Prior to Slater Slater Schulman, Ashley worked as a criminal defense attorney for eight years. She frequently represented marginalized individuals who were unlawfully arrested and wrongfully accused of criminal behavior. Ashley is passionate about building strong communities and spent time tutoring at the Boys and Girls Club from 2016 to 2020.

Ashley graduated with a B.A. in Political Science and History from the University of Connecticut and her J.D. from Suffolk University Law School. She joined Slater Slater Schulman in April 2023 and is licensed to practice in New York and Massachusetts state courts.
