  • Andrew Lavadera is an Associate Attorney at Slater Slater Schulman advocating for survivors of sexual abuse under the Child Victim Act litigation of New York.

    Andrew excels in his practice through clear and concise communication with his clients. It’s essential to Andrew that survivors feel empowered during litigation. To accomplish this, Andrew educates his clients and provides clear timelines to ease concerns. He promotes an empathetic environment where his clients’ voices are heard and supports them in accomplishing their unique goals.

    Prior to the firm, Andrew worked as a Senior Trial Attorney representing plaintiffs in cases involving premises liability, motor vehicle accidents, and municipal liability. He also gained valuable experience as an associate practicing aviation and transportation law, representing matters such as wrongful death, bodily injury, property damage, cargo, and subrogation claims.

    Andrew received his B.S. in Management and International Business with a Minor in Theatre from Villanova University. He obtained his J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law, where he received the Judge Garret E. Brown Success Scholarship in 2012 and the Center for Social Justice Award in 2014. Andrew joined Slater Slater Schulman in February 2024 and is licensed to practice in New York and New Jersey state courts and the U.S. District Court of the Eastern Districts of New York.

    Outside of the firm, Andrew is a father, a long-distance runner, and a member of the City Bar Chorus, performing outreach concerts for different nonprofit organizations throughout New York City.
