  • Dina Hodges is an Associate Attorney at Slater Slater Schulman LLP, where she works on Adult Sex Abuse cases. With an extensive background in criminal law, Dina brings a compassionate and client-centered approach to advocating for survivors and individuals navigating complex legal matters.

    Dina approaches every client relationship with empathy, compassion, and respect. Dina strives to create a space where individuals feel safe and empowered to share their experiences. She believes consistent communication is essential and takes care to guide clients through each step of the legal process, ensuring they always feel informed and supported.

    Prior to joining the firm, Dina was an attorney with the Queens County District Attorney’s Office, where she prosecuted a wide range of criminal matters. During her tenure, she handled cases involving DWIs, sex crimes, firearm offenses, gang assaults, robberies, and attempted murders. Several felony matters assigned to her received media attention. Dina also served as second chair on a homicide trial, tried a firearm case, and successfully argued against a writ of habeas corpus before the Appellate Division, Second Department.

    Dina earned her B.S. in Legal Studies with a minor in Criminal Justice, magna cum laude, from Mercy College, where she was honored at the 2015 Mercy College Trustees Dinner as a standout student associated with the Lunch with a Leader series. She received her J.D. from New York Law School, interning for the Honorable Judge Ilana Marcus in Manhattan Criminal Court during her 1L summer, followed by an internship with the Office of Policy and Planning under the New York State Office of Court Administration during her 2L summer, and an externship with the Kings County District Attorney’s Office during her 3L year, further strengthening her foundation in criminal prosecution and courtroom advocacy.

    Dina has been a valued member of the Slater Slater Schulman team since 2026 and is licensed to practice in New York State.
