Alexis Ekaireb is an Associate Attorney at Slater Slater Schulman advocating for survivors of sexual abuse in California.
Alexis demonstrates a commendable dedication to survivors, approaching each survivor with genuine sensitivity and compassion. She presents case information in a way her clients understand, fostering a sense of empowerment throughout the legal process. Through empathetic engagement, Alexis ensures her clients feel productive and acquire the sense of closure they deserve.
Prior to joining the firm, Alexis worked for Oakwood Legal Group. At Oakwood Alexis handled a high volume of Boy Scout litigation claims. Thereafter, she joined Slater Slater Schulman as a Legal Assistant and thereafter a Law Clerk.. Alexis became an Associate attorney in May 2024, continuing to represent survivors of sexual abuse and catastrophic personal injuries.
Outside of her legal work, Alexis is deeply committed to community service. Alexis volunteers at the Sova Food Pantry in Los Angeles, CA, where she packages and distributes food. She also lends a helping hand at the Los Angeles Animal Services, assisting with donations and contributing to the socialization and adoption of animals. In law school, Alexis was involved with the Jewish Growth Society and Jewish Law Student Association, organizing events and mentoring new students.
Alexis received her B.A. in Philosophy from Loyola Marymount University and her J.D. from Southwestern Law School – where she was a Southwestern Admissions Scholar focusing on negotiation. Alexis is licensed to practice in California state courts.
