Nicole’s leadership also extended into policy implementation, notably serving as the Borrowers Defense Act team lead staff attorney during the Obama Administration, where she played a pivotal role in shaping legislative changes that aimed to foster greater fairness and justice within the legal system.     Nicole graduated with a B.A. in Justice Law and Society with a Minor in Mathematics and a Master of Science from American University. She received her J.D. from American University Washington College of Law. Nicole is a current member of the Maryland Association for Justice and the American Association for Justice. She joined Slater Slater Schulman in April 2024 and is permitted to practice in Maryland.
