Alexis McCruter is an Office Manager at Slater Slater Schulman’s Maryland office, bringing nearly a decade of experience in the field.

Alexis is a passionate leader with a strong background in personal injury and sex crimes. She primarily manages everyday operations at the firm, cultivating a thriving workplace where coworkers and clients feel supported in their legal pursuits.

Alexis began her career by completing several valuable legislative internships at the National Women’s Political Caucus, the Georgia House of Representatives, and the U.S. House of Representatives. She first worked with survivors of sexual abuse and trauma as a Resource Coordinator in sex crimes and domestic violence for the City of Atlanta District Attorney’s Office.

Prior to Slater Slater Schulman, Alexis was a senior paralegal and department head for a personal injury firm in Baltimore. In this role, she gained vital skills and insights in leadership, team management, advanced legal knowledge, strategic problem-solving, and building successful client-attorney relationships.

Alexis received her B.A. in Criminal Justice from Clark Atlanta University. She officially joined the Slater Slater Schulman team in October 2024.
