Wayne Williams

Associate
  • Wayne Williams is an Associate Attorney at Slater Slater Schulman, where he represents survivors under the Adult Survivors Act in New York.

Wayne brings a client-centered approach to his practice, focusing on compassion and empathy to create a safe space for survivors to share their experiences. He uses a restorative and support-oriented method that prioritizes active listening and trust-building–thereby helping clients feel validated and empowering them to reclaim their voice and find healing through the legal process.

Prior to joining Slater Slater Schulman, Wayne gained valuable experience representing survivors of sexual abuse under New York’s Child Victims Act. He has been dedicated to this work since 2021, building on his earlier experience as a prosecutor at the Westchester County District Attorney’s Office, where he developed a deep understanding of the criminal justice system and a strong foundation for advocating on behalf of survivors of trauma. Wayne’s commitment to justice and advocacy has also earned him recognition as a proud recipient of the National Black Lawyers 40 Under 40 award.

Wayne received his B.A. in History from Albright College and his J.D. from Case Western Reserve University School of Law. He proudly joined the Slater Slater Schulman team in 2025 and is licensed to practice in New York.
