Viviana Bergerson

  • Viviana Bergerson is an Associate Attorney at Slater Slater Schulman, where she represents survivors of sexual abuse and assault in California.

    Viviana is a compassionate and patient advocate who takes the time to truly listen to her clients. By understanding their stories, concerns, and goals, Viviana is able to craft an effective legal strategy while providing guidance that feels both practical and personal. She is committed to achieving justice for her clients, ensuring their voices are heard.

    Prior to joining the firm, Viviana gained extensive hands-on advocacy experience through Southwestern Law School’s Children’s Rights Clinic as well as the Lanterman Special Education Law Clinic. In these roles, she worked closely with children and families seeking special education services, supporting parents during IEP meetings, researching the law, and communicating directly with school districts to advance cases.

    Outside of her practice, Viviana values giving back to her community. She has served as a tutor and mentor for children since college, working with students across both the Los Angeles and Bay Area school systems.

    Viviana earned her B.A. in Legal Studies, with a minor in Public Policy, from the University of California, Berkeley, and her J.D. from Southwestern Law School. At Southwestern, she ranked in the top 10 percent of her class and was a member of the Negotiation Honors Program. Viviana has been a valued member of the Slater Slater Schulman team since 2026, drawn to the firm’s strong commitment to client advocacy and holding powerful institutions accountable. She is licensed to practice in the California state courts.
