Tamnika Taylor is an Office Manager at Slater Slater Schulman, serving the firm’s Maryland office with a detail-oriented, resourceful, and proactive approach.
Tamnika’s strong organizational skills and approachable demeanor allow her to support daily office operations effectively, assist with paralegal responsibilities, and help streamline processes for both staff and clients. Her role places her at the heart of the firm’s work with survivors of sexual assault, where she remains committed to providing steady, compassionate support.
Tamnika values a client-centered philosophy, ensuring that survivors receive clear communication, attentive guidance, and a safe space to share their needs. Her professionalism builds trust, and her willingness to step in as needed keeps office operations running smoothly. She takes pride in anticipating challenges and addressing concerns promptly and thoughtfully.
Prior to joining the firm, Tamnika gained strong experience as both an Office Manager and Paralegal, providing her with a solid foundation in administrative operations, trauma-informed practices, and meeting deadlines with accuracy and care. She spent four years in the Special Victims Unit at the Baltimore City State’s Attorney’s Office, where she worked closely with attorneys on pre-scanning cases, interviewing victims, preparing them for trial, conducting mock sessions, reviewing evidence, and providing in-court support. During that time, she also served on a specialized sex-trafficking team, assisting with victim relocation and securing safe housing.
Tamnika earned her B.A. in Business Administration from Strayer University in White Marsh, Maryland, and is a certified victim advocate, holding Victim Advocate II Certification through The Roper Academy of Maryland and an Advocate Leadership Certification from the National Victim Assistance Academy.
She has been an integral part of the Slater Slater Schulman team since 2025 and continues to expand her training and professional development.
