Meet Ross M. Dinger

Ross M. Dinger is an Associate Attorney at Slater Slater Schulman, where he focuses on mass tort litigation.

Ross uses a client-centered approach to build a strong, trustworthy relationship with his clients. His genuine passion for communicating with others shines through and ensures that his clients’ best interest remains his focus. As a former intern for the City Bar Justice Center, Ross excels in explaining complex legal information in a manner that a client can understand.

Ross gained valuable experience as a legal intern at the CBJC and worked directly with pro se litigants in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York. Working with pro se litigants afforded him the opportunity to aid a diverse population that struggles to afford legal representation. During his time at CBJC, Ross assisted with cases involving employment discrimination and civil rights claims, the Fair Labor Standards Act and ERISA claims.

Ross is a former volunteer with the Lakeland Volunteer Fire Department, where he gave back to the community through firefighting and EMS work. He serves as a volunteer for the Special Olympics of New York, where he encourages hard-working athletes during events and training. Additionally, Ross was a former Tower Captain for the Smith Point Lifeguards. This experience inspired him to explore the ocean as a PADI certified Open Water Diver.

Ross graduated with a B.A. in Sociology and Social Sciences Interdisciplinary with a focus in Legal Studies from the University at Buffalo. He graduated with his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School, where he was a recipient of the Carswell Merit Scholarship and Irving Gutin Scholarship.  Ross joined the Slater Slater Schulman team in September 2022, feeling a strong connection to the firm’s mission to positively impact the lives of clients affected by trauma and injury. He is currently awaiting admission to the New York State Bar.
