Mahmoud Shukry is an Associate Attorney at Slater Slater Schulman, advocating for child and adult survivors of sexual abuse stemming from religious and educational institutions.
Mahmoud is a dedicated, compassionate attorney who fiercely protects his clients’ rights. Through unwavering strategic counsel and tenacious advocacy, Mahmoud empowers survivors to tell their stories and provides consistent support to fight for the justice they deserve.
Prior to joining Slater Slater Schulman, Mahmoud gained extensive experience handling various stages of litigation for sexual abuse and bullying cases involving educational institutions. In this role, Mahmoud represented clients through legal writing, oral advocacy, and conducting depositions. In addition, he has worked on matters involving personal injury, premises liability, medical malpractice, elder abuse, and wrongful death, contributing to the successful resolution of numerous cases through settlement negotiations and mediation.
Beyond his litigation work, Mahmoud volunteered at the University of San Diego School of Law’s Civil Litigation Clinic, where his dedication to advocating for identity fraud victims earned him an honors pass. Additionally, Mahmoud earned an honors pass in Negotiations for his oral advocacy efforts.
Mahmoud received his B.A. in Middle Eastern Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles. He earned his J.D. with double concentrations in Civil Litigation and Business/Corporate Law from the University of San Diego School of Law, where he attended as a faculty scholarship recipient. Mahmoud has been a valuable member of Slater Slater Schulman since 2025 and is licensed to practice in California state courts.
