Lance Ringer is an Associate Attorney at Slater Slater Schulman, advocating for survivors of sexual abuse through the firm’s ASA division.
Lance is a passionate advocate dedicated to creating a safe environment for his clients to discuss their legal pursuits. He prioritizes educating survivors on the complexities of the legal process, making them more manageable during highly vulnerable times. Lance empowers clients throughout the entire process, giving them the strength to find their voice and speak their truth.
Prior to joining the firm, Lance was an Assistant District Attorney in the Domestic Violence Unit of the Kings County District Attorney’s Office in Brooklyn. In this role, he prosecuted hundreds of domestic violence cases, including felony and misdemeanor sexual assault. After that, Lance worked for a personal injury litigation firm in New York, representing clients in general liability, trademark infringement, premises liability, automobile liability, employment law, and general negligence for insurance carriers and self-insured companies.
Lance is a former volunteer for the Friendship Circle, an organization where he volunteered weekly to build relationships with special needs children. He helped facilitate several group activities involving sports, music, and arts and crafts.
Lance received his B.A. in Psychology and a double minor in Criminal Justice and Political Science. He received his J.D. from New York Law School. Lance joined Slater Slater Schulman in January 2024 and is licensed to practice in New York state and the Federal Court for the Eastern and Southern Districts.
