Jason Duncan is a Senior Associate at Slater Slater Schulman, where he represents clients across all areas of personal injury litigation, including sexual assault litigation, mass torts, and catastrophic personal injury. Jason is valued by his clients for his empathetic and relentless advocacy.
Prior to joining the firm, Jason began his legal career as a First Lieutenant in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps, serving as both prosecutor and defense attorney in over 150 courts-martial and supervising attorney teams. After his military service, he spent more than a decade litigating complex mass tort, toxic, and environmental cases, primarily representing workers harmed by asbestos exposure– as well as handling cases involving wrongful death, traumatic brain injuries, auto accidents, and premises liability. Early in his career, he also practiced criminal defense, further honing his litigation skills. Jason received the Meritorious Service Medal for his military service.
Jason continues to serve in the U.S. Army Reserves JAG Corps and is actively involved in his community, particularly in supporting veterans and children. He volunteers with his local VFW and American Legion, mentors veterans through the Veterans Court Program, serves as a child advocate through county bar associations, and contributes to food banks and homeless shelters.
Jason earned his B.A., magna cum laude, from Elizabethtown College and his J.D., magna cum laude, from Boston University School of Law. He is also an honor graduate of the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General Legal Center and School Officer Basic Course. Jason joined Slater Slater Schulman in January 2026, drawn to the firm’s reputation for excellence in litigation and commitment to seeking justice for clients who have been abused or mistreated. He is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, as well as in the United States District Courts for the Middle and Eastern Districts of Pennsylvania, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
