Ihsan Arman

Associate
  • Ihsan Arman is an Associate Attorney at Slater Slater Schulman, where he represents survivors of childhood sexual abuse in Illinois.

Ihsan approaches each case with candor, diligence, and a deep commitment to ensuring his clients feel heard and supported throughout the legal process. He believes in being honest and direct, providing clear guidance to help clients understand their rights and empowering them to move forward with confidence.

Prior to joining the firm, Ihsan served as a prosecutor in both the Knox County State’s Attorney’s Office and the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office, where he prosecuted various sex crimes and other violent cases involving vulnerable survivors. His experience in the criminal justice system showed him that many victims did not get the justice they deserved. As a result, he transitioned his practice to civil advocacy to help survivors obtain the justice unavailable to them in the criminal justice system.

Ihsan earned his B.A. in Political Science from the University of Illinois Chicago and his J.D., cum laude, from UIC School of Law. During law school, he graduated in the top 15% of his class and earned multiple academic distinctions, including Dean’s List honors. He was a member of the Moot Court Honors Council and the Trial Advocacy and Dispute Resolution Honors Program, and also served as an Associate Barrister on the Council Development team.

Ihsan has been a valuable member of the Slater Slater Schulman team since 2025 and is licensed to practice law in Illinois state courts.
