  • Benjamin L. Davis, III, is the Managing Attorney of Slater Slater Schulman’s Baltimore office, bringing almost two decades of litigation experience in victims’ rights and employment matters.

    Benjamin is a highly personable and client-focused attorney known for his collaborative approach to meeting his clients’ needs. His career trajectory has armed him with a sophisticated litigation skill set, enabling him to serve as an invaluable advocate in pursuing justice for those who have been wronged.

    Prior to joining Slater Slater Schulman, Benjamin was a Senior Attorney at AARP, focusing on filing large-scale class action lawsuits designed to advance and protect the rights of older adults. His aptitude and in-depth knowledge of complex litigation techniques led him to earn a high-performance rating in his division and make an immediate impact on the clients he served.

    Benjamin began his legal journey as a prosecutor at the Baltimore City State’s Attorney’s Office, serving five years as a lead attorney in over 200 jury and bench trials. He then transitioned to private practice and spent nearly a decade as the Director of Employment at a prominent Baltimore law firm. There, he represented individuals exposed to unfair wage practices through filing multi-state class action lawsuits against big corporations that failed to pay their employees overtime. As the head of his department, Benjamin’s extensive experience in complex motions, mediation, discovery, and trial tactics enabled him to manage a successful practice before moving on to AARP.

    Benjamin graduated magna cum laude with his B.S. in Political Science from Xavier University of Louisiana. He graduated cum laude with his J.D. from Howard University School of Law in Washington D.C., where his legal writing earned an award for the Best Appellate Brief. He’s been a valuable member of Slater Slater Schulman since 2025 and is licensed to practice in Maryland and the District of Columbia.
