Alejandra Wehber Zuniga

Associate
  • Alejandra Wehber Zuniga is an Associate Attorney at Slater Slater Schulman, advocating for survivors of child and adult sexual abuse.

Alejandra is a passionate advocate and avid listener who employs client-centered litigation. Her primary goal is to establish a positive rapport with survivors, creating a supportive environment wherein they feel comfortable sharing their most traumatic experiences.

While born in San Diego, CA, Alejandra is a native of Tijuana, Mexico, where she was raised and began her law career as a legal assistant for a civil law notary public. She also interned for the State Commission of Human Rights in Baja California, gaining extensive experience in human rights violations before pursuing a career in the United States. These experiences have made Alejandra extremely passionate about helping Latino and other minority families navigate the American dream without being taken advantage of.

Prior to the firm, Alejandra represented low-income tenants in habitability and toxic tort lawsuits. In this role, she secured hundreds of thousands of dollars in settlements for her clients and successfully represented them in eviction court when unlawful detainers were filed.

Alejandra has dedicated her entire legal career to plaintiff litigation and helping those in need, particularly those facing unspeakable trauma, discrimination, and neglect. Additionally, Alejandra has offered many pro bono services to clients and worked as a paralegal for Loyola Law School’s Project for the Innocent, a legal clinic that provides free legal advice and representation to people wrongfully convicted of a crime in California.

Alejandra received her Bachelor of Law (LLB) from the Universidad Iberoamericana Tijuana in Mexico and her Master of Law from Loyola Law School. She joined the firm in October 2024 and is licensed to practice in California State courts.

Outside of the firm, Alejandra loves spending time with her family, enjoying nature, and playing racket sports. She is very interested in foreign languages and believes that speaking more than one language is a superpower, as she speaks fluent English and Spanish, intermediate French, and beginner German.
