Meet Justin Lee

Associate

Justin Lee is an Associate Attorney at Slater Slater Schulman and a zealous advocate for survivors of sexual trauma. As a key player in the firm’s sexual abuse department, Justin frequently litigates matters pertaining to childhood sexual abuse and adult sexual assault, with particular focus on law and motion.

Justin’s relentless commitment to advocating for survivors empowers his clients to seek the long-awaited justice they deserve. Understanding the global implications inflicted by past traumas, Justin approaches every client relationship with compassion and empathy. His effective communication practices guide his clients through the legal process feeling all their concerns have been addressed, no matter how big or small. Justin’s value for his clients as humans above all else allows him to establish a positive rapport that instills trust in his abilities to secure favorable results and a sense of closure trauma survivors desire.

Giving back to others is a value Justin upholds in his practice and advocacy efforts outside of the firm. He is an avid participant of the Korean American Bar Association (KABA) of Southern California. His involvement was sparked by a passion for supporting underserved Korean Americans in his community through pro-bono representation and legal support.

Outside of the firm, Justin is an avid supporter and advocate for matters affecting the Asian Pacific Islander (API) community. In law school, Justin served on the executive board of the Asian Pacific Island Law Student Association and was Chief Managing Editor for the Asian Pacific American Law Journal. As a proud Asian American, Justin is honored to contribute to the API discourse and efforts to bring more awareness to the API identity within the legal industry and more broadly across society.

Justin received his B.S. in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University and his J.D. from UCLA School of Law with a specialization in Business Law- Taxation. He is admitted to practice in California State Courts and the United States District Courts, Southern and Eastern Districts of California. Justin officially joined the Slater Slater Schulman team in June 2022, connecting with the firm’s compelling mission of zealous representation for survivors of traumatic events that would truly allow him to make a difference in his practice.
