He joined the Slater Slater Schulman team in January 2021, inspired by the firm’s compassion for supporting victims and survivors of child sexual abuse.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Farrell was intimately involved in representing individual and municipal claimants for over a decade at a prominent New York City firm prosecuting false claims and product liability claims against pharmaceutical and medical device companies. During this time, he has been trial counsel to clients in numerous consolidated litigations. In 2014, he was part of the trial team of a client suffering from bladder cancer associated with his use of a pharmaceutical medication which resulted in a 9-billion-dollar jury verdict, at the time the largest civil jury verdict in history for a personal injury lawsuit. In 2020, Mr. Farrell was recognized as one of the “Top 100 Trial Lawyers” by The National Trial Lawyers for his work in the field of sexual abuse and product liability litigation.
Outside of the firm, Mr. Farrell is an active member of the American Association of Justice. He has also participated in Pro Bono work at the Legal Aid Society, where he has donated his time and provided representation to low-income New Yorkers in matters involving housing disputes.
