Anthony R. Portesy is an associate in the Sexual Abuse practice group at the firm. Prior to joining the firm, Anthony was active in the field of Labor and Employment Law, attending the 2010 Peggy Browning Worker’s Rights Conference in Silver Spring, Maryland. In 2011, Anthony was elected President of the Labor and Employment Law Society at New York Law School where he chaired a symposium entitled “Rhetoric, Reaction, and Rule of Law at the NLRB” which included guest speaker Wilma B. Liebman, former chairman of the National Labor Relations Board. Anthony is dedicated to ensuring the protection of worker’s rights in the workplace from unfair workplace discrimination to unpaid wages and overtime.
Mr. Portesy received a B.S from Stony Brook University in 2008 and a J.D. from New York Law School in 2012. He is admitted to the New York and New Jersey state bars as well as the United States federal district courts of the Southern District of New York and Eastern District of New York.
